Moudubi, Patuakhali – A quiet coastal village named Jahajmara Sea Beach, located near the Bay of Bengal, is gradually drawing the attention of travelers seeking unexplored destinations in Bangladesh. Situated only a short distance from the well-known Kuakata sea beach, Jahajmara has remained largely unknown to the public – until now.
Recently, Rony Sharafat, a young Bangladeshi travel documentarian, photographer, and digital content creator, visited the area with his team to explore and document its natural beauty. The journey is featured in his latest Bangla travel documentary series Raw Taste of Bangladesh (মিঠা পানির সাগর), covering Episodes 1–3.
“Jahajmara is breathtaking. It’s one of the cleanest and calmest beaches I’ve ever seen in Bangladesh,” Rony said in his video. “The people are welcoming, and the environment feels untouched.”
He also extended special thanks to his team members Robiul, Niloy Roy, Faysal Abdullah, and Nurullah Bhai for supporting the trip.

Local residents have noticed a gradual increase in visitors, particularly young travelers and content creators. While infrastructure remains basic, the area’s natural charm is drawing those who prefer authentic and less crowded destinations. Environmental experts have urged authorities to maintain sustainable tourism practices to protect the coastal ecosystem and local livelihoods.
For decades, Jahajmara remained off the tourism map despite its proximity to Kuakata. With the rise of digital storytelling and travel content, this hidden coastal gem is gradually being recognized.
“Jahajmara is not just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience,” Rony said. “Its calmness is something you rarely find anymore.”
As word spreads, Jahajmara may soon claim its place among Bangladesh’s most beautiful natural destinations.
